DEVOTION of the day

Would you consider joining us "With One Accord", based upon Acts 2:1 we have created a devotional with one purpose; to draw as many people together daily in one accord as possible, each of us reading the very same passages out of the Word every day. The entire devotion will last no more than five minutes unless you choose to research further and while it may be the most powerful five minutes of your day I can assure you it will improve your day! The power of people unified by the Spirit, in His Word, is I believe one of the greatest of all untapped resources. Did you know that every day the Jewish people all over the world are reading the very same scripture? Did you also know that they are God's chosen people, a people who are and have been obviously blessed and led by a (our) Holy God?

This is not a project intended to promote a particular individual, Church or Ministry, only the Word of the Living God. It is our heart that as others join us they too will bless us with their thoughts, understanding, and interpretations of the Word, in order that we may all grow together in one accord.

The basic premise is this: each day you will receive a devotional (Monday through Friday) with scripture which we are reading, following the passage will be some thoughts, a challenge, as well as an individual prayer. You will also notice in the bottom left hand corner the words bind and loosen, each followed by another word or series of words. This premise is taken directly from Matthew 16:19 (Jesus speaking) "And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven". We believe and have witnessed that this is a literal blessing given to all of us and a critical key to prayer, each day I would ask that you pray for God to bind and loose what we have directed on both, of your own life as well as upon a ministry or ministries of your choosing.
