Many have asked the question "how can I be a witness, how can I share about God? Prayfully we can help you not only answer that question but also give you some tools to become effective at it. Somehow the enemy has succeeded at making most Christians feel ashamed of their faith, feelings of fear, shame, inadeqacy and retribution prevent us from being open about who we are in Christ and before we can effectively witness we must deal with any of these feelings we may have. Let's approach some of these obstacles to sharing faith head on and see if we can disarm the enemy in our life.
OBSTACLE NUMBER 1 Faith
Faith: Hebrews 11:1-2 tells us that "Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony".To believe that God created the heavens and earth actually takes less faith than believing that the earth evolved, there is more hard evidence pointing to creation than toward evolution. In Hebrews 6 we are told that "without faith it is impossible to please God", the truth is that you either believe God is who He says He is or you don't, if you do then faith should not be a problem, and if you don't you are not saved. If this sounds too simplistic, that's because it is, we are the ones who complicate things, not God.
